Michael "Mike" Mibbs

"The true meaning of life is to plant trees, under whose shade you do not expect to sit."

That is exactly what Michael "Mike" Allen Mibbs of Peoria did on Tuesday, April 23, 2024. He was 42. As an organ and tissue donor, he gave many people second chances.

Michael Allen Mibbs was born to Frank and Suzan Mibbs on Dec. 18, 1981.

In his younger years, he was active in JFL, basketball and baseball. He enjoyed creating through drawing and origami, along with listening to music and playing cards with family and friends.

Michael is survived by his parents, Frank and Suzan; sister, Jennifer; brother, Jason; and his significant other, Liz.
